A Word from the Executive Director
Dear Friends,
Many of you know that we are celebrating our 23rd birthday this year, and in my humble opinion I think we have much to celebrate! For example, take a minute to imagine thousands of young people performing millions of hours of community service, such as recycling, teaching environmental education, restoring parklands, installing play structures and bike racks while attending classes to improve their chance for a successful future. Take another minute to imagine those same young people finishing their education, enrolling in college, securing gainful employment, becoming leaders in their community, raising families, and buying homes of their own.
Take another minute to recognize that while they're accomplishing these great things, they do it to benefit this City which we all love! Please consider supporting the critical work of this important San Francisco institution however you can, either by volunteering, making a donation, or sponsoring one of our events.
