The Presidio Trust
gathered veterans
and members of
Conservation Corps
from all over
California for a Day
of Service in the
Presidio. SFCC
Corpsmembers worked
with others on
Habitat Restoration,
Garden Restoration,
and Forest
Stewardship
Projects.

our 25th
Anniversary! September
2008 (continuing
through 2009!)
We’re
celebrating our 25th
anniversary this
year and kicked off
the celebrations
with an event on
September 4th at San
Francisco’s City
Hall.
The ceremony
honored SFCC
co-founder Senator
Dianne Feinstein and
featured the
Honorable Willie L.
Brown, Jr.;
Assemblyman Mark
Leno; Jared
Blumenfeld, director
of San Francisco’s
Department of the
Environment; and
James Molinari,
State Director,
Office of Senator
Dianne Feinstein.
More than 180 people
attended, and the
event raised more
than $110,000 for
the programs at
SFCC! If you missed
